Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has left a lasting impression on the tiny screen. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. The next year was not long after when she relocated to Texas. She began a career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and soon made the move to Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various roles as an actor as well as independent commercials and films. She quickly found her passion for the art of acting despite the small roles. Then she moved into New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG The Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. Her first major part came in the year 2004, on the underrated film The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She was A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. Then she joined the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of awards, including Best Supporting Actress on TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments later. She played Marisol Deko in the role of wife to David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was as Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat darker comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is an Italian father as well as one sister Cory whom is 10 years older than her. Her family was the strict, religious home of her family. Milano launched her acting career at the age of seven after her babysitter joined her for an audition. She was one of the four girls selected out of over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano performed in television advertisements and on off-Broadway plays, among them the first American musical version to Jane Eyre.
